I’m a roller skater and just started ice skating so I got the excel version of the Jackson skates. They’re comfortable and provide support! One thing i will say, they are a bit stiff but that’s fine to me. They’re just a bit sturdy but as I said it provides great ankle support. They are also true to size. I suggest to anyone who typically wears a half size in shoes to size down unless you have pretty wide feet. For example I wear a size 8 1/2 in shoes and the size 8 skate fits perfectly. I love them so far and would definitely recommend .They came unsharpened and some screws had to be put into the bottom, so I knew they were brand new! We followed the instructions on how to size, and they fit perfectly! She loves them!I was a competitive ice dancer almost 40 years ago. Skate Guru surprised me with a high quality product at a very reasonable price. After breaking them in on land at home, they are super comfortable yet still supportive for the recreational skating I do now.
