Girls on Top, founded in 1996, are one of the top garage-punk girl groups in London. Regulars of the Camden Town alternative rock'n'roll scene, they are fronted by vivacious Vicki de Vice - an Ace Records' face - and detonated by acclaimed ex-Deadbeats guitarist Neil Downe. "A Taste of Cyanide" is their third album on their own label and is a mixture of recordings from the famous Toerag and Gizzard studios, using original 60s equipment to create an exciting and authentic period sound. Try a taste of of fuzz guitar mayhem on 'Cryonic Suspension' and wig-out to the disturbing bitter-sweet of 'Twins' or the beatgroup style toetapper 'Bad Boys'.
